I've taken up karate! Sport Karate, to be more precise. We enrolled the lads in the newly opened Sansum Stealth Black Belt Academy a few months back, and then I joined up too. The lads got their red belts at the Little Ninja's grading at the end of June, then last night I got mine.

More info as and when we get further!

More info time! I'm a yellow belt now, and the lads have moved on to their orange belts. We've all competed in tournaments now too, my record isn't great, but it's improving! I came:

4th - ISKA British Open, Men's under-85kg semi-contact points
3rd - Xtreme Warriors, Derby qualifier - Men's novice over-85kg semi-contact points
1st - Xtreme Warriors, Derby qualifier - Men's intermediate over-85kg light-contact continuous

Also, a big thanks to Rhiddian and his team from Wales who came over for the inagural "Stealth Fight Night", which was held at the Coalville Labour Club last month. The Coalville team recording a resounding victory over their Welsh counterparts, with the only notable exceptions being Sensei Craig Smith and Sensei Matt Smith, who lost their fights. The winner of each fight was presented with a trophy - since Jack, George and I all won we garnered three!
